En nuestra estancia en China hemos cogido dos
trenes, uno de GuangZhou a GuiLin, y otro de GuiLin a KunMing.
En el primero fuimos con la madre y el
padrastro de Andrea en clase turista (no había otra disponible) y tardamos
catorce horas en llegar. Como en China hay mucha gente conviene reservar con
mucha antelación.

La clase turista o hard sleeper consiste en vagones con cubículos de seis literas
abiertos a un pasillo. Los trenes son muy buenos, como las infraestructuras en
China. El precio fue de veinticinco euros, a nuestro juicio barato teniendo en
cuenta la distancia recorrida.
De KunMing a GuiLin ya fuimos solxs aunque en
primera clase (55€/pers.): nos esperaban treinta horas de viaje. Tuvimos la
suerte de ir sin compañerxs, por lo que disfrutamos de un cubículo cerrado para
cuatro personas nosotrxs solxs.
Como podréis imaginar, en primera las camas
son más anchas y cómodas, se puede suprimir la megafonía y controlar la
iluminación.

El paisaje de GuiLin a KunMing es también
kárstico y disfrutamos de maravillosas vistas hasta que oscureció. El resto del
viaje pasó rápidamente pues fuimos durmiendo, sin vecinxs ruidosxs.
During our stay in
China, one in GuangZhou to GuiLin, and the other from GuiLin to KunMing.
The first one with Andrea’s mother and her step father in the economy
class (there were no others available) and it took fourteen hours. Because
there are lots of people in China it is convenient to book in advance.
The economy class or hard sleeper consists of wagons with six bunk bed
cubicles opened into a corridor. The trains are really good, as the
infrastructures in China. The price was twenty five euros, very cheap
considering the distance.
From KunMing to GuiLin we went alone, though this time in the first
class (55€/pers.): a thirty hour trip awaited us. We had the chance to go
alone, so we had a closed four people cubicle to ourselves.
As you can imagine, in the first class the beds are wider and more
comfortable, you can mute the announcements and the music and you can control
the lights.
The landscape from GuiLin to Kunming is also karstic and we enjoyed
wonderful views until it was dark. The rest of time went by very quickly; we
spend it sleeping, without noisy neighbours.
